The FAO Database on Port State Measures (Port-Lex) presents legisative measures adopted by States to prevent, deter and eliminate Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated fishing (IUU fishing).

ECOLEX is a comprehensive environmental law portal jointly operated by FAO, IUCN and UNEP. The ECOLEX portal includes information on treaties, international soft-law and other non-binding policy and technical guidance documents, national legislation, judicial decisions, and law and policy literature.

FAPDA

The Food and Agriculture Policy Decision Analysis (FAPDA) initiative promotes evidence-based decision making by collecting and disseminating information on policy decisions and frameworks through a freely accessible web-based tool.

Family Farming Knowledge Platform

The Family Farming Knowledge Platform is a FAO portal containing information on family farming and includes national laws and regulations, public policies, best practices, data and statistics and various publications.

Gender and Land Rights Database

The Gender and Land Rights Database contains country profiles of national legal frameworks, policies and programmes supporting the advancement of women or inducing gender-differentiated access to land. It also includes gender and land-related statistics, as well as a legislation assessment tool.

General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM) is a regional fisheries management organization established within the framework of FAO. The GFCM National Legislation Databaseprovides information on the principal measures adopted by the GFCM Contracting Parties, Cooperating non-Contracting Parties and relevant non-Contracting Parties in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.

UrbanLex is a free global database that aims to improve access to the legislation that regulates the urban environment. The database features seven (7) critical areas of urban law (Taxation, Finance & Economic Development; Governance and Government; Infrastructure and Basic Services; Urban Planning; Disaster Recovery and Urban Resilience; Building and Construction; Land and environment) that are essential to the sustainability and development of the legal framework in urban areas. The database is maintained by the Urban Legislation Unit, within the Urban Legislation, Land and Governance Branch of UN-Habitat.
