Constitutional provisions

Right to water: No provisions regarding the right to water.
Natural resources: Article 8 sets forth that all types of natural resources and sources of energy, whether above ground, underground, in territorial waters, on the continental shelf or the exclusive economic zone are owned by the State, which assure their exploitation for the common good of the people. Contracting concessions regarding natural resources and public facilities should be undertaken according to the law.
