Pilot Countries
The pilot CountrySTAT application will be used within a set of pilot countries
selected by FAO from countries interested in the project.
The target countries for this project are those that already have a working
structure for data collection who need help in consolidating, publishing
and making the most of their agricultural statistical data.
National Statistical Offices
The pilot application is intended for use in national statistical offices or
statistical departments. As stated
earlier, one of the goals of the project is to assist national statistical
offices to develop and automate their in-house agricultural publication
process.
Current Pilots

Kyrgyz Republic (National Statistical Committee): initiated on 14 March 2005.
- Kenya (Central Bureau of Statistics): initiated on 22 April 2005.
- Ghana (Statistical Service): initiated on 21 July 2005.
