FAO’s Strategic Programme 2 (SP2) identified the Global Farmer Field School Platform as one of its global knowledge products over the 2018-19 biennium. 

FAO SP2 team and Plant Production and Protection (AGP) team jointly organised a seminar on February 14th 2018 to launch the global FFS platform, with interventions from key stakeholders inside and outside FAO. The aim of the seminar is for colleagues from inside and outside FAO to learn about the FS platform and its potential to support their work. Topics such as strenghtening FS impact, linking regional networks and building partnerships will be presented and discussed.
