SRFC area of competence - National waters Legal frameworkThe Convention establishing the SRFC was signed by Cape Verde, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Mauritania, and Senegal in Dakar, Senegal, on 29 March 1985. Guinea became a member of the Commission in 1987 and Sierra Leone in 2004.
