| Abstract:
| This Act concerns the protection of the environment and provides for the establishment and organization of the Environment Protection Authority and of the Environment Protection Fund. The Act consists of 140 sections and is divided into the following Parts: Preliminary; Objects of Act; Authority, conference and Fund; General environmental duty; Environment protection policies; Environmental authorisations and development authorisations; Voluntary audits and environment performance agreements; Special environment protection provisions; General offences; Enforcement; Civil remedies; Emergency authorisations; Appeals to Court; Public register and Miscellaneous. |
