Abstract: This Ordinance aims to regulate and protect marine culture.The Ordinance consists of three Parts divided into 23 sections: Preliminary (I); Control and Protection of Fish Culture (II); General (III).Part I contains a section on public administration.Part II contains sections on designation of fish culture zones (5), restrictions on fish culture (6), prohibition of fish culture outside fish culture zones (7), licences (8-9), equipment, navigation in zones and protection of zones (11-13).Part III deals mainly with enforcement, penalties and legal proceedings and provides for regulation making powers of the Chief Executive in Council.
