FIE promotes and supports the development of a network of regional fishery bodies, including regional fishery bodies established within the framework of FAO, and provides support to these bodies, including through liaison and cooperation with the FAO regional fishery officers and secretaries of regional fishery bodies established within the framework of FAO. FIE also support a biennial meeting of RFBs.
