This Regional Meeting is being organised for a period of two days in Bangkok to share the experiences of Thailand and Bangladesh with other countries so that they are able to utilize this framework and prepare themselves, at the national level, to deal more effectively with food safety emergencies, in developing FSER Plans as well as the lessons learnt in the process. Member countries will also be able to formulate more targeted requests to FAO for assistance in responding to food safety emergencies.
