THE STORY OF AICHA KHALLOUKI
Landless in Morocco
As part of a series of photo journals on how the TeleFood programme helps needy families, a resident of western Morocco talks about her daily life.
My name is Aicha Khallouki. I am 45 years old and live with my husband, Housin, and six children in a compound in the village of Sala Al Jadida, near Rabat. Two of my children are handicapped.
My husband and I grew up in this area – actually we are cousins – and most of our relatives live on the land behind us. |
