PRIVATE SECTOR CONSULTATION

In the context of preparations for the High-Level Conference on World Food Security and the Challenges of Climate Change and Bioenergy, FAO seeks participation of a wide range of private sector participants with a strong interest in the projected impacts on food security of climate change and increasing use of bioenergy. 

This consultation is being held through the Rome 2007 Initiative for Sustainable Growth, convened by FAO, IFAD, WFP and the Global Mechanism and which targets various relevant sectors, including agribusiness, insurance/resinsurance, energy sector, private carbon funds and associated, private banks and carbon brokers.
