Глобальная оценка лесных ресурсов

FRA 1990 process

Following the compilation of the Forest Resources Assessment 1980, an expert meeting was called by FAO. The meeting, supported by FINNIDA and FAO/ECE, was held at the Kotka College of Forestry and Forest Industry in 1987.

More than 50 experts from several countries and international governmental organizations attended the meeting (called “Kotka I”) and presented the results of their National Forestry Inventories. These results were then used as the main guidelines for the Forest Resources Assessment 1990.

The recommendations and proceedings of Kotka I are not available online.
