3. Review of subject papers
Each subject paper should be reviewed. It was decided that the following reviews be performed:Each subject paper should be reviewed. It was decided that the following reviews be performed:
1) Ylva will make a rough check of consistency between the different subject papers and propose structural changes to the lead authors. Peter and Göran will assist to some extent in this work. (Regarding the five draft papers already available, this consistency check was performed during the meeting in Göttingen).
2) Following the consistency review and potential revision, each lead author is responsible for sending the subject paper to an expert within the field in order to obtain suggestions for improvement.
3) In December, Ylva will submit all papers in their current state to Christoph who will let his students perform a review from the point of view of simplicity and usability of the subject papers. Ylva will summarize the findings and forward relevant comments to the lead authors.
4) As a basis for future work when all subject papers have undergone reviews according to (1)-(3) and been posted on the web, an external reviewer will be appointed to go through the entire KR, evaluate the consistency, and propose both structural and detailed suggestions for improvement. The potential changes of subject papers due to this will be part of the next phase (spring 2004 onwards) of the work with the KR.
