Forest health projectsIn response to requests from governments, FAO provides direct technical assistance to countries on specific pest problems affecting forests and food security. These projects offer assistance to countries not only in response to pest outbreaks and emergencies but also in establishing long-term prevention and forest protection strategies. More current forest health projects are presented in detail here. They are organized by country however some projects have a regional focus. To access the project information, click on By country in the table of contents on the left and then select the country you are interested in from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. Also available for download is a list of all FAO forest health field projects from the 1980s to the present. | See alsoContact usFor more information on FAO and issues related to forest health and the forest sector please contact: Gillian Allard |
