Terminology and concepts
- Bibliography is a list of references residing in Foris. Optionally these references can be tagged with keywords, and have a written annotation. Thus, the simplest possible bibliography is a list of references - only.
- Bibliography sub-section is an optional "chapter" in a bibliography. Note, entries in a bibliography can also be split based on their keyword tagging. The use of sub-sections should therefore be restricted to cases where keyword use is not possible, or would be seen as awkward. A typical case is the hypothetical bibliography ¿References to FAO¿s book on Frogs¿. It this case it may make sense to split references following the chapters in the book. This would be very difficult (or at least awkward) using keywords.
- Bibliography entry is a reference appearing in a bibliography.
