International processes and networks
The Forests and Water programme is involved in several international networks and processes addressing forest hydrology, watershed management and sustainable mountain development issues at the regional and global levels. The programme shares with other FAO services and units the responsibility of mainstreaming relevant inputs generated by FAO normative work and field experience into the agenda of these networks and processes. It also contributes to conveying suggestions and recommendations generated by these bodies within FAO.
