International processes and networks
Support to International Network of Organizations and Processes
The Forests and Water Programme provides support and collaborates with several organizations as well as international processes which adress issues in the fields of forest hydrology, watershed management and sustainbale mountain development. The Programme shares with other FAO services and units the responsibility of mainstreaming relevant intputs developed from the knowledge gained through FAO normative work and field experience into the agendas of these organizations and processes. Additionally, information and recommendations by our international network in regards to FAO policies, programs and projects are conveyed back into FAO through the Forest and Water Programme.
