CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERS

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS OF VOLUNTARY PAPERS

Authors of selected voluntary papers will be invited to make a presentation at the conference. Voluntary papers relating to the five main discussion areas should be concise (10-15 pages) and forward-looking. To be clear, paper topics should be about the future of forests and less about the past and the present. In keeping with the thrust of the conference, paper topics must demonstrate an attempt to synthesize broad-based and cross-cutting issues in order to paint a realistic and sophisticated outlook of the future. Selected papers will likely expand on the outlook for a specific forestry topic or theme -- to 2020. The deadline for abstract submissions (about 250 words) has been extended to 30 June 2007, and authors of proposed voluntary papers selected for presentation will be notified by 15 July 2007. Full papers should be submitted not later than 15 August 2007.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS OF POSTERS

As with voluntary papers, posters should exhibit forward thinking. Poster presenters will be given the opportunity to present ideas through text and graphics on a door-sized panel available at the conference venue. Poster abstracts should be received not later than 31 August 2007 and selected poster authors will be notified by 15 September 2007.
