Module usage

Foris meetings is used both for basic information and knowledge management purposes and for publishing meetings related information onto various Web sites.

Basic information and knowledge management includes keeping track of which meetings we (FAO) have had, and which are going to have, where and when, information presented in these meetings (presentations, posters, etc.) as well as material published as an outcome of these meetings.

The database is not used for FAO meetings alone, but also for other meetings that we need to monitor and "remember". An example of the latter is "important meetings organized on the topic of xxxx over the years" (replace xxxx with any subject covered by FAO).

Scope

The Meetings database is intended to be used both for FAO meetings and meetings run by others that we need to bear in mind.
