The National Convention Centre (NCC) is a unique, state-of-the-art meeting complex. Recognized by the Vietnam Architecture Award 2006, the NCC is situated on an area of 64 hectares in the southwest portion of Hanoi. It is an ideal venue for political, economic, cultural and social events for both international and local organizations and agencies. The NCC was most notably the site of the 14th APEC Summit in 2006.
The National Convention Centre has a floor space of 60,000 square meters, with vast lobbies, and more than 40 function rooms of all sizes. The NCC also has a full array of supporting services such as banks, post offices, souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, and 500-car parking deck. The Convention Centre is surrounded by thousands of trees with a system of winding ponds on an area of more than 9 hectares, forming a peaceful and splendid park, suitable for outdoor activities, trade fairs, exhibitions and outings.
