He is working for FAO as Forestry officer (information and knowledge management) at Head Quarters in Rome. He has a M Sc. in Forestry from SLU in Umeå. He has a private sector background, having worked for Korsnäs AB before joining FAO. After a first stint at FAO working with FRA 1990 follow-up, he returned to Sweden for a period working for Ramböll Natura. FAO and Rome proved to be tempting so he returned to FAO working with FRA again, now the 2000 assessment, until he was offered his current post, being responsible for information and knowledge across the whole department.
