Mono-dominant Shrub Communities
Pure stands of Suriana maritima up to 4 m tall line some sandy shores. Scaevola taccada from 1 to 2 m tall can be found on the narrow ends of islets and in shoreline areas impacted by storms. Dodonaea viscosa can also form small stands, Allophylus timoriensis is widespread but not seen in stands.
