About the Information Framework

This Information Framework is developed to facilitate monitoring of:

- Forests
- Land use
- and the terrestrial Environment at large

on a global and regional scale; by providing access to global systematic samples of data and information.

The primary data provided are time series of remote sensing images.

The Information Framework is jointly developed by FAO and UNEP.
