This webpage provides information related to national forest policies including nfp and policy implementation instruments. Information related to legal instruments are given in section on Forest Legislation.

     Blue indicates information comparable for all countries in the world (FRA 2010).
     Amber indicates regional or national detailed information that may not be comparable in
time or scope (MCPFE 2007 or nfp-UPDATE). Regional information in English, French or Spanish is published as received from the countries. Information provided in Arabic, Chinese or Russian is translated into English for a wider audience.
