CPF and the civil society
Community forest people in Namibia CPF members work closely with civil society groups on a wide range of forest-related activities and projects all over the world. All CPF members have established their own networks or mechanisms of collaboration with stakeholders, including in some cases, participation in the meetings of their governing bodies.
CPF members meet with representatives of Major Groups in conjunction with UNFF meetings to foster closer cooperation between international agencies and civil society groups.
In addition, an informal CPF network [
[English] || [French] || [Spanish] ] brings together organizations with a broad range of expertise, resources and perspectives that can enrich the dialogue and enhance collaborative action to promote sustainable forest management. The mailing list is open to all forest stakeholders, including international, regional and national organizations, institutions, instruments and processes, non-governmental organizations, indigenous peoples’ organizations, private sector entities and individuals. To receive updates of the work of CPF and become part of the CPF network, please fill out the CPF network mailing list form and return it to the UNFF Secretariat at unff@un.org
