The Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF) is a voluntary arrangement among 14 international organizations and secretariats with substantial programmes on forests.  The CPF's mission is to promote the management, conservation and sustainable development of all types of forest and strenghten long term political commitment to this end.

Closing event for the International Year of Forests 2011 20 December 2011 Rome, Italy – The FAO Forestry Department held a closing event for the International Year of Forests 2011 at FAO headquarters for Permanent Representatives, Rome-based Intergovernmental Organizations, external partners, and FAO staff.
