Mandate
The Central American Council for Forests and Protected Areas (CCAB-AP) is an advisory body of the Central American Commission on Environment and Development (CCAD), a subsidiary body of the Central American Integration System (SICA). It is responsible for the implementation of CCAD policies and strategies on the sustainable use of forest resources and the conservation of biological diversity. It works under several strategic implementation mechanisms and action plans related to cooperation on forests in the sub region.
