Mandate

To support public and private national and multinational institutions in the Member States which are engaged in research, technological development and extension, strengthening their capabilities to:

Formulate technological innovation policies
Consolidate national and regional technological innovation systems
Improve management through reciprocal collaboration and international relations
Manage all natural resources related to agriculture.

IICA approach is divided into six areas of concentration:
