The Center for the Competitivity of Eco­enterprises (CeCoEco) is a non-profit organization engaged in promoting the competitivity of rural eco-enterprises in agricultural and forestry markets.

Global Environment Facility (GEF)

The Global Environment Facility (GEF), established in 1991, helps developing countries fund projects and programmes that protect the global environment. GEF grants support projects related to biodiversity, climate change, international waters, land degradation, the ozone layer, and persistent organic pollutants.

International Labour Organization

The International Labour Organization is the UN specialized agency which seeks the promotion of social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights. It was founded in 1919 and is the only surviving major creation of the Treaty of Versailles which brought the League of Nations into being and it became the first specialized agency of the UN in 1946.

International Year on Microcredit 2005

The UN General Assembly designated 2005 as the International Year of Microcredit and has invited Governments, the United Nations system, concerned non-governmental organizations and others from civil society, the private sector and the media to join in raising the profile and building the capacity of the microcredit and microfinance sectors.

Regional Community Forestry Training Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RECOFCT)

RECOFTC has the mandate of promoting people's participation in forest management. With the help of Community forestry, this organization seeks to improve forest resources management and enhance the livelihoods of people who depend on forests for their survival. In Asia, more than a billion people depend on forests for their immediate needs .

This Learning Centre aims to assist organisations to build their capacity to improve rural financial services.

Tropical Agriculture Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE)

CATIE's mission is to contribute to rural poverty reduction in tropical America by promoting competitive and sustainable agriculture and natural resource management, through higher education, research and technical cooperation.
