Documents of the Second Session of the Intergovernmental Technical Working Group on Forest Genetic Resources
The second Session of the Intergovernmental Technical Working Group on Forest Genetic Resources will be held at FAO Headquarters in Rome from 23-25 January 2013. The Session is being convened under the Regular Programme of the Organization. It will be conducted in Arabic, English, French, Chinese, Russian and Spanish.
The Thirteenth Session of the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture requested the Working Group on Forest Genetic Resources to meet, prior to the Commission’s Fourteenth Session, to review the draft report on The State of the World’s Forest Genetic Resources and priority areas for action, as identified in Country Reports and regional consultations; and to review and evaluate options for a follow-up, and make recommendations to the Commission.
