How much do you know about the health of forests? Senior Pathologist Dr Kerry Britton from the US Forest Service has devised a “teaser” to launch the Guide to Implementation of Phytosanitary Standards in Forestry as part of an ongoing effort to raise awareness among the general public.
The importance of pests and their negative impacts on forests are often underestimated. Watch this video, prepared as awareness material under the International Year of Forests CPF (Collaborative Partnership on Forests) theme for July 2011, "Managing risks to forests under a changing climate".
