Public consultation
The National Forestry Reform law of 2006 states that the FDA shall publish proposed regulations for at least 60 days prior to their effective date in order to allow for public comments and that the FDA Managing Director shall collect and summarise all comments and refer them along with the proposed regulations to the FDA Board of Directors for its comments and advice.
Proposed regulations and other documents for public consultation can be downloaded from the list shown below. This list also shows the closing date(s) for submitting comments. When submitting comments, please refer to the number of the regulation and the line or paragraph number(s) concerned and suggest specific changes to the text or actions that may be required.

Registration is not required to send comments to the forum, but it would be helpful to give your name in any comments that are sent in this way. More general comments on any aspect of forestry sector reform in Liberia can also be sent to the LFI forum. We appreciate your feedback and would be very interested to hear your opinions and suggestions.
