How to access the centre
The Forestry Information Centre is open to FAO and other UN staff, Permanent Representatives to FAO, official delegates to FAO conferences and project personnel. FAO staff in the regional and subregional offices and field projects, as well as external users, may make a request to the Forestry Information Centre by telephone, fax, mail, e-mail or skype. The Centre is open to the general public (university faculties or students, researchers and people from developing countries) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.00 to to 17.00. Requests should be addressed by e-mail to the head of the Forestry Information Centre. Requests are subject to the approval of the Centre. Requesters will be notified via e-mail when their request has been approved.
In order to access the FAO premises, visitors should bring:

Opening hours
The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:00. When the FAO Conference and Council are in session, the Centre is open until 17:30.
