Seminars on "Identification of information needs" and "Methodology development" for the National Forest Assessment in Angola will be held on 29 and 30 October 2008 in Luanda. During the first seminar participants will identify main policy issues and priorities in the country as well as information requirements in the forestry sector. In the second seminar on Methodology development, FAO methodology to NFMA will be tailored and adapted to national information needs and Angola context. Both seminars are organised by IDF and FAO and will gathered about 40 stakeholders from different ministries, NGOs, universities and associations. [more...]
