FAO Forestry databases

The very first article of the basic texts of the organization, covering functions of the organization states:

1. The Organization shall collect, analyse, interpret and disseminate information relating to nutrition, food and agriculture. In this Constitution, the term "agriculture" and its derivatives include fisheries, marine products, forestry and primary forestry products.

Forestry Department maintains an array of databases where information covering various aspects of forestry is stored for analysis and further dissemination.
