FRA 2010 is launched

FRA 2010 was officially launched during a meeting held in Rome from 3 to 7 March 2008.

The first meeting of the FRA 2010 Remote Sensing Task Force was held in Rome on 4-5 March 2008 as a parallel event to the main technical meeting of the National Correspondents to the Global Forest Resources Assessment 2010.
