The FAO Forestry web presence is large with many sites. At the time of writing (September 2005) some 220 sites are presented through the Forestry department developed content management system Foris.

The vast majority of the sites presented belong clearly to FAO Forestry. However, many other sites are published under different colours, in other contexts. The site index is therefore split in different categories as seen in the menu on the left hand side.
