Уважаемые коллеги и друзья! Спасибо за инициативу. Это очень полезное и доброе дело. В Кыргызстане ФАО в рамках программы TeleFood уже оказала содействие в организации пришкольных садов. Позже инициатива была продолжена и в Азербайджане. В рамках проекта, финансируемого Российской Федерацией, помощь оказывается Армении и Таджикистану. Я уверен, что проекты помогают значительно улучшить школьное питание. Однако было бы полезно также в эти программы включить вопросы повышения знания детей об устойчивом производстве и бережном отношении к экосистеме и природным ресурсам. ФАО оказывает странам региона во внедрении таких важных элементов устойчивой интенсификации растениеводства, как почвозащитное и ресурсосберегающее земледелие, интегрированная защита растений, органическое производство, устойчивая система семеноводства и др. Было бы полезно организовать демонстрацию этих подходов в пришкольных садах, а также включить эти вопросы в учебную программу, чтобы дети уже со школьной скамьи знали как беречь почву, как эффективно и безопасно защищать растения от болезней и вредителей и как производить здоровую пищу. Было бы эффективно связать вопросы питания с устойчивым производством.

In Kyrgyzstan, FAO within the framework of the TeleFood program has already assisted in the organization of school gardens. Later, the initiative was continued in Azerbaijan. Within the framework of the project, funded by the Russian Federation, assistance is provided to Armenia and Tajikistan. I am sure that projects help to significantly improve school meals. FAO provides countries of the region assistance with the introduction of such important elements of sustainable intensification of crop production as soil and resource conservation, integrated plant protection, organic production, sustainable seed production, etc. It would be useful to organize a demonstration of these approaches in school gardens, as well as include these issues in the school curriculum so that children already at school know how to protect the soil, how to effectively and safely protect plants from diseases and pests, and how to produce healthy food. It would be effective to link nutrition issues with sustainable production.
