Mr. Moussa Djagoudi is an Agribusiness Officer at FAO (the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) Regional Office for Africa, Accra – Ghana, with over 12 years working experience in developing countries.
In addition to his studies in Agricultural Engineering, Mr. Djagoudi also has a post-graduate degree (DESS) in environmental protection and specialized in Agribusiness and value chains development in the agriculture sector.
Before joining the FAO Regional Office for Africa (Accra-Ghana) in 2013, Mr. Djagoudi worked in Senegal as an expert on commercialization and post-harvest for a regional programme related to food security through commercialization of Agriculture from 2011 to 2013; in Niger with the FAO Representation as food security officer (Associate Professional Officer) from 2007 to 2011; in Benin with the Songhai Centre (Porto-Novo), a renowned NGO in the sector of integrated agriculture as training, production and partnership expert from June to September 2007; in Togo with EAA /WSA (former CREPA) in the water and sanitation sector from 2004 to 2005.
Over the past twelve years, Mr. Moussa Djagoudi has successfully formulated or participated in the formulation and implementation of a number of projects and programmes related to food security, agribusiness and youth employment, value chains development, food security and nutrition, small scale irrigation and agricultural productivity in more than 20 countries in the Africa region.
Mr. Djagoudi has demonstrated his passion for facilitating and moderating technical meetings and high level conferences by facilitating numerous types and levels of meetings in Africa and beyond.
In his free time, Mr. Djagoudi loves playing with his children and watching movies.
