I am currently working on a blog site which focuses its attention on studies producing suggestions for an effective paradigm change in Maternal-Child Health in SSA. I am a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner w/ a specialty in Midwifery. I have practiced for 12 years in Miami, Florida. I am a former Peace Corps Volunteer - Honduras and through that experience realized the profound disparities with regard to Maternal-Child Health and through work in Public Health as a Nurse Midwife, I continue to note the perpetuating disparities around the world.
