Closing out a Small Farmers Livelihood Program and implementing Disaster Risk reduction Projects
I work with an international development group on water and energy issues in villages in the developing world. Our current and first project is a collaboration with the village of Zweledinga, South Africa in creating sustainable ways to increase quality of life. We are working with them and investors to implement a profitable bamboo farm/business and develop permaculture methods. We are also addressing access to clean water and renewable energy.
shiree is a DFID extreme poverty programme in Bangladesh. We fund and support a number of NGOs across the country on economic empowerment projects.
Relevant to this forum, we are supporting an international NGO set up a branded social business selling hygienic street food across Dhaka, and employing street dwellers.
