Mr. Laurentiu Rebega, Diplomat Engineer Licensed in Livestock, at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Bucharest have large experience and interests in food security and world food system. From more then 4 years, is working very closely with UN FAO National Corespondent in Romania, in order to promote the agriculture and food security. Due to his work and interests, Mr. Rebega with 2 Master Degree, one in Master In Project Management And Regional Rural Development, within the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Economics, The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and Master In Master in Management and Rural Development - Faculty of Management, Engineering in Agriculture and Rural Development , University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Bucharest have large experience in agriculture and food security. 2004-2006, Junior Leader in Agricultural business courses on Implementation of projects for establishing farms - Economic analysis of farms activity / Provision of advice to farmers, The Danish Ministry of Education, Grindsted Agricultural Academy Denmark.

I am currently coordinating the cross cutting theme of gender in MSSRF. In addition i have been associated with participatory technology development for small holders and landless farmers and organizing them in to collectives.
