To enhance the capacity of southwestern Angola’s smallholder agro-pastoral sector to mitigate the impact of land degradation processes and to rehabilitate degraded lands by mainstreaming Sustainable Land Management (SLM) technologies into agro-pastoral and agricultural development initiatives.  The project seeks to increase local livelihoods by introducing locally adapted SLM approaches and by strengthening and diversifying livestock and non-livestock based value chains.
