Strengthening of the Enabling Environment, Ecosystem-based Management and Governance to support Implementation of the Strategic Action Programme of the Guinea Current Large Marine Ecosystem (GCLME)
A joint project that will be implemented by FAO, UNEP, UNDP and UNIDO to strengthen the regional governance and ecosystem-based management of the Guinea Current Large Marine Ecosystem (GCLME).
The project aims to strengthen regional and national capacities for Strategic Action Programme (SAP) implementation measures related to transboundary fisheries, biodiversity conservation and pollution reduction.
The project concept was approved during the 53rd GEF Council meeting, held in November 2017.
