Rio+20: Sustainable empowerment of women’s rights to land

The International Land Coalition (ILC) supports five community-based projects promoting the legal empowerment of rural women. Ahead of the Rio+20 Conference on Sustainable Development, projects piloted innovative ways to enhance women’s land rights, identifying models for replication and scaling up as well.
