FAO Statistics

• Gender and Land Rights Database
  This database contains country-level information on the national and customary laws governing land use, property rights and inheritance. It offers information on women’s and men’s legal rights in access to land.
• FAOSTAT
  The PopSTAT module, under the FAOSTAT, contains population data disaggregated by sex.

• Segregat
  This database provides sex disaggregated statistics for over 80 countries on employment.
• Gender Info 2010
  This resources offers sex disaggregated statistics and indicators on a wide range of policy areas, including: population, families, health, education, work and political participation.
• The UNECE Gender Statistics Database
  A tool that helps to monitor the situation of women and men in all UNECE member countries, and provides information to evaluate the effectiveness of policies.
• The World's Women 2005: Progress in Statistics
  This issue of The World’s Women report focuses on national reporting of sex disaggregated statistics in such areas as demographics, health, education, work, violence against women, poverty, human rights and decision-making.
• Progress of the World's Women 2008/2009
  The report provides data on five key areas where the need to strengthen accountability to women is urgent: politics and governance, access to public services, economic opportunities, justice, and the distribution of international assistance for development and security.
• MDG Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Progress Chart 2010
  An output of the Inter-Agency and Expert Group on MDG Indicators, this Chart provides an assessment of progress towards a number of key targets related to women’s empowerment and gender equality.
