The map depicts ad random selected sites where fields are suspected , based on the observed geometry and the image values of the ASAR RGB. The ASAR mosaic itself is based upon multiple acquisitions of ASAR AP dated 10 October (R), 29 October (G) and 13 November (B). The reddish colors indicate vegetation activity around 10 October, the greenish colors indicate vegetation activity between 10 and 29 October and the blueish colors indicate vegetation activity between 29 October and 13 November. grey/dark colors indicate no vegetation or little vegetation activity. White colors can be associated with built-up areas, steep slopes, etc. When referenced to cultivated areas those colors can be associated with emergence dates of vegetation on the fields.
