Abstract
This dataset derives from the RWDB_SWB-PY shapefile data layer which covers the entire globe and is comprised of 8750 derivative vector framework library features derived based on 1:3,000,000 data originally from RWDBII. The original dataset is an enhanced SWB polygonal derivative based on 4 separate RWDB2 Library layers. The layer provides nominal analytical/mapping at 1:3,000,000.

Statement
CIAMAP in Shape Files version 1.1 (formerly RWDBII), this is the first distribution/update of the original 1982 WDBII. Data derived from source library following Dbl-Prsn/Tol0.00001 and a number of steps and cross-checks, including but not limited to: 1) Polygons: 1st built from linear features where available then cleaned/dissolved using unique attributes and then compared against source material; 2) Linear features: processed as lines and cleaned/dissolved on unique combination of specific attribute to maintain encoding. Relevant linear or polygonal outlines from other library layers then added to topologically reduce gaps, e.g. rivers/swb outlines--where necessary data from VMap0 Ed5 may have been used to further reduce gross errors as in state/pro add Lns for: SWBs, Dbl-lined Rivers, Land/Sea Ice build Poly, add Lns for Inshore Islands, 1st-order Subnational, Law of the Sea boundaries build poly and establish National; add remaining linear features: rivers, roads, etc.; add point features, e.g. Po
