Abstract  Represents Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) 8-km reflectance data set for the year 1981-2001 (single mega file in ERS (ERMapper) format) for Krishna Basin comprising 2 bands (Band 1-red band, Band 2-near infrared band). Krishna basin area was Subsetted from Global Monthly AVHRR Dataset. The source of this dataset is NASA?s, GES DISC DAAC. The projection is Geographic Lat/Long and datum WGS84.
Purpose  Global irrigated mapping, Drought assessment, wetland project, land use/land cover changes, NDVI dynamics, Land degradation, Deforestration, etc.
Supplemental Information  "The IWMIDSP data is now coded in 3 colors: 1. Green: Free access to anyone in the world. 2. Blue: Restricted access to public- access to IWMI users only. 3. Red: Highly restricted data with access only to justified requesters. "
