| The media campaign in Spain around World Food Day has been really a major success. A massive information campaign took place in Spain.
The launch of the campaign took place on 14th October with the Director of the Spanish Cooperation Agency and several popular Spanish figures signing the 1BH. FAO was represented by Eduardo Rojas, ADF Forestry.
Mr. Rojas was interviewed that day on prime time by Spanish Television (TVE) www.rtve.es/alacarta/todos/ultimos/dia-3/2.html
During the whole week, RTVE (Radio Television Española) dedicated most of their programmes to issues related to hunger and poverty, including the visit to a FAO project in El Salvador which was shown in a documentary of the prestigious weekly programme Informe Semanal (27:50 www.rtve.es/alacarta/.
Mr. Enrique Yeves, FAO Information Officer in Spain, had the privileged to be interviewed on several TV programmes, including “ Para Todos la 2” where the public whistle and sign the 1BH:

Mr. Enrique Yeves, FAO Information Officer in Spain was also interviewed by CNN Spain. In total he gave interviews to 18 media networks.
On Monday 18th October, the Spanish Professional Football League presented in Madrid the Match Day with Spanish soccer players Raúl and David de Gea in a Press Conference that was widely covered in the media. Mr. Enrique Yeves, FAO Information Officer in Spain represented FAO.
